The Central Consortium of Classical Educators

The Central Consortium of Classical Educators is less than a month away.

CCCE is a one day teaching and training event in Central Arkansas for anyone interested in Classical Christian Education. Educators, families, and community leaders can receive professional development and a greater understanding of the purpose and practice of the educational movement sweeping the nation.

Classical Christian education is “rooted” in Christianity and the liberal arts, and fosters the apprehension and appreciation of that which is good, true, and beautiful. Further, classical educators encourage students by means of Scripture, Socratic dialogue, and the Great Books to approximate their lives toward virtue, wisdom, and objective truth.

Join us on June 3, 2023 for a full day of great teaching, group discussions, and lots of food and fellowship to the end that we might all better understand and foster the renewal of Classical Christian Education in Central Arkansas. Education Leaders, Heads of Schools, and Deans are invited to a Meet and Greet on June 2nd, Friday evening prior to the event.

Scott Postma
Scott lives in the panhandle of Idaho with his bride of more than 30 years. Together, they have four grown children, whom they homeschooled, and six grandchildren. Scott edits The Consortium: A Journal of Classical Christian Education, is a co-founder and the CEO of Kepler Education, leads the Poiema Reading Society, and practices the ancient art of Tsundoku. Scott earned a doctorate in the humanities (Ph.D., Faulkner University), served as a minister for 20 years, and has been an educator for nearly 30 years. He also blogs at scottpostma.net.
